So as you might now, Anime North is a fan run convention in Ontario Toronto. This year was my second time being there, and it was a rather interesting turn of events!  (WARNING COSPLAY SPOILER ALERT In around the end of this post, there are cosplay photos spoilers. Scroll down quickly around the photos is you have NOT finished Kuroshitsuji II.)

First off, this is the first picture I took on the way to Anime North (saturday):

As you can see, I’m not wearing my eyepatch. I was already a bit late by the time I arrived at our meeting point with my friends to go to AN. That explains the bad makeup too… I did it on the train…

Lucky me, I did some research the night before, and found the way to get to AN by train and bus. The directions given were 100 % correct, and we  arrived to AN perfectly. The line this year was so long though! By the time we were inside the building, ( excluding the registration line ) an hour already passed.

After, me and my friends headed out to Artist Alley. At some point, our group got separated so I just went around with my friend to Dealer’s room. 

 After that…was intense boredom >.0

So yeah!~

At around 6pm, we noticed that the concert hall was opening! I remembered that HITT was going to perform!!  A few months before AN, their site announced that HITT was going to be a performing guest, so I just had to check out his music! I was really excited to hear him perform live!

He is amazingly gorgeous ! OMG *_*

After the concert, I lined up to buy a poster, as you can have it signed by HITT and take a photograph with him. ♥

After I took a pic with HITT, I was fangirling so bad that it was difficult for me to pick up the poster he signed ( Loser much! ) and my friend said he smirked. ( In a good way!)

After the concert, it was already late. After calling some of our friends who did not pick up the phone. We realized after some after they actually left us.. o.o

So me and my two other friends headed home

Going crazy- Song Ji Eun feat. Bang

These prescription contacts are a light blue colour, from Geo. It was my first time to wear contacts, and it was so fking hard to put them in! (But then, they are SOFT contacts.)  

They were comfortable, it felt like I wasnt even wearing glasses.

And that’s it! ( Honestly, as you know, this wasnt a review..)

D’ont Cry- Park Bom

Today, however, I am going to write (or rant depending on how I feel like ) something that happened to me about a week ago..or technicaly, something that I have been suppressing for months, and I wasn’t able to let it out until a week ago. (Sorry for not making sense  @.@)

Anyhoo…

Some people are just childish. Like kids. And like most kids of course, they play with toys and dolls. Some kids love their toys and would never let them go; while some kids, are entertained by their toys for a while, then toss them away for new shiny toys.

I felt really depressed these past few months, as one of my best friends tossed me away like a doll. It’s odd because, well..I loved her.It is difficult for me to write that as I am pretty bad with expressing my own feelings…

When my friend couldn’t bear this big gap of ignorance, she forced us to make up. And…I cried a bucket full of tears. It was very hard for me to confess and explain to that one person I haven’t talked in months.. that everyday, felt really painful. Like someone ripped my heart open and strewn all the contents out. That even thinking about this situation made me cry.  I have never been in a relationship before…but it really felt, it really feels, physically and emotionally like I was dumped by someone I loved. Like a loved one dead and gone.

I wont continue on as the rest is just about us making up. (Intervention!?)

This month has been quite busy and confusing. Lots of assignments, tests, crying and what not. I have to plan a little group meetup for a an anime convention, (Anime North, if you live in the Toronto Ontario area) finish buying  items for my cosplay, and decided If I have feelings for a certain someone. Even though I have undergone another hiatus, I will try my best to post more. (How many times have I unfaithfully promised that?!?!)

  Next post will be a Kuroshitsuji cosplay post, (Yes, I will finally show my true self/face!) since I need some advice and critiques.  Oh, I have also decided to add a song/artist of the day. (Or per blog post as I would put it.)

1.Gosick

A story about a Japanese exchange student who meets a porcelain doll like girl who bascially lives in his school library. Her brother, a policeman, relies on her amazing skills to solve complicated  mysteries.

Gosick was originally a light novel, then adapted into a anime. Since it’s release , Gosick has teamed up with classic designer brand Innocent World, and produced Gosick x Innocent World collaboration items.

2. Kuroshitsuji II (Monoshitsuji)

Yes, I love Kuroshitsuji!

Obviously, Kuroshitsuji II is the sequel to Kuroshitsuji. It follows a few new characters, the main ones being a earl called *fangirl squeal!* Alois Trancy, and his butler, Claude Faustus. It is difficult for me to not mention any spoilers for this anime, so i’l leave it like that.  XD

Kuroshitsuji has proven itself to be a beautiful and dark anime, (Sometimes lightened with the occational gag and BL moments….) spawning a live musical, and a collaboration between gothic designer brand, Black Peace Now.

3.Shiki

For the Gothic Lolitas out there who loves vampires- (Please, not the Twilight ones) you will like Shiki. Shiki is about a small village (Near 100 in population) in summer, while a mysterious stricking disease is taking the lives of  many villagers.

*Note: If you decide to watch Shiki, be patient! It plays out a bit slowly at first, but once the action starts, the anime is breathtakly fast paced!

Shiki was also originally a light novel adapted into a manga and anime. Author Fuyumi Ono also has another story/anime/manga called “Ghost Stories”. Check it out if you like supernatural thrillers, you w’ont be dissapointed! Like the two animes mentioned above, Shiki has also collaborated with designer brands. Several, actually. Collaborations include Angelic Pretty, Black Peace Now, Algonquins, Atelier Pierrot, Medi Store, Commode, Metamorphose  and Putumayo.  

Also, famous Cellist Kanon Wakeshima and bassist Kanon of former An cafe had debuted their band toghether (KanonxKanon) with their single Candula Requiem which was used for the opening in Shiki. (In later episodes.)

It was difficult for me to actually phrase what I wanted to say. I ended up drawing myself in anime version, and a few phrases.

I felt really happy afterwards. I mean, alot of kids are probably having a difficult time adjusting to what happened in Japan. Writting a small letter can already brighten someone’s life; it shows that people around the world care about you and wants to make help Japan. It is important that people forget their differences and help out thousands of innocent people in need. I am chinese myself, and I do not see why other chinese (even my generation/age) would want to refuse to help Japan just because of the Sino war.
